From a screenshot to a checked portfolio update
A screenshot of your portfolio can be the starting point for an update in My Wealth. On Windows, local AI analyses the image and prepares changes that you check before applying them.
The process below follows a fictional example: three known positions and a cash balance to revise. It shows what comes from the image, what AI proposes and what changes after validation.

1. Prepare the application and a readable image
You need My Wealth on Windows and a compatible local model installed. From the relevant holding account's menu, open Smart import. You can also use scheduled tracking in the Update Centre. The local assistant guide explains model installation.
You can use a PNG, JPEG or WebP image. Keep position names, quantities, values, the currency and the date when available. A cropped, blurred or filtered image requires an additional check of what it covers.
The screenshots in this example show the same fictional portfolio; interface labels may vary by version.
2. First read what the source contains
The image at the top of the page shows a total value of 10,000 USD, with three positions:
| Position | Quantity | Unit price | Displayed value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Northstar Inc. | 20 | 200 USD | 4,000 USD |
| SolarWorks | 30 | 100 USD | 3,000 USD |
| Ocean Holdings | 10 | 200 USD | 2,000 USD |
These positions total 9,000 USD. In this example, the cash balance is calculated from the total: 10,000 − 9,000 = 1,000 USD. The ‘Total Available Balance’ of 700 USD is not the cash balance to copy.
Additional information clarifies the meaning of the columns and this expected calculation. It is especially useful when funds available for purchases and an accounting balance mean different things.
3. Start analysis on your computer
In smart import, choose the image file, paste the screenshot or drop a source using the available controls, then start analysis with the selected local model.

The time taken and result quality depend on the hardware, model and image. This step prepares a review; it does not yet apply any change to the wealth data.
4. Check the proposal line by line

The demonstration review retains a single change: the cash balance, currently 900 USD, is proposed at 1,000 USD. The three positions remain ignored, with no selected change. The summary shows one change, no new items and no deletions.
Check the relevant holding account, currency and proposed value. Correct an incorrect match or amount; ignore a row if it should not be applied.
A partial screenshot may omit a position you still hold. Do not accept a deletion on that basis alone. Uncertain items and incomplete new items must be examined in the review.
5. What changes after your validation
For this batch, if you keep the proposal and choose Save changes:
| Item | Before | After applying the illustrated batch |
|---|---|---|
| Cash | 900 USD | 1,000 USD |
| Northstar Inc., SolarWorks and Ocean Holdings | Existing positions | Unchanged, because ignored in the review |
| Positions created or deleted | None selected | None |
You can then find the balance in the portfolio. Also finish saving the wealth file according to your saving mode. If scheduled tracking is due, confirmation may be offered separately.
This example illustrates a checked result; it does not guarantee that every image will be interpreted correctly. The source and analysis result remain temporary: keep your statement if you want it as a reference.
