Passive-income tracking in My Wealth

Track your passive income and how it changes

My Wealth helps you track income generated by your wealth in a dedicated view.

Dividends, rent, interest and other income can be linked to the assets that produce them, helping you understand each investment's contribution to your financial position.

The goal is not only to know what your wealth is worth, but also what it actually produces over time.

Bring your income sources together

My Wealth can track income from several asset types, including:

  • rent from property;
  • dividends paid by shares or funds;
  • interest from selected investments;
  • income linked to other compatible assets.

This information is integrated into the existing wealth file so assets and their income do not need to be managed separately.

Each source can use its actual frequency—monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly or another supported interval—so it can be annualized consistently. Recurring costs linked to an asset can also be deducted from the income it produces.

Distinguish gross income, net income and yield

Announced rent or dividends do not always represent what actually contributes to your wealth.

My Wealth distinguishes income before costs or financing from calculated net income. It then compares these amounts with the gross or net value of assets to present the corresponding yields.

This makes financed and unfinanced assets comparable while keeping the calculation components visible.

View the income generated by your wealth

The Passive income view provides an overall reading of income from your assets. You can understand:

  • which asset categories generate income;
  • the place that income occupies in your wealth;
  • how it changes over time;
  • which assets contribute most.

Results can be grouped by asset family, asset, institution, custodian or owner. Monthly and annual totals remain calculated across the whole wealth file even when you explore a specific grouping.

In Analysis, income is compared with other wealth indicators, so you can read yield without losing sight of concentration, asset availability or associated loans.

Track dividends, rent and interest in one application

With several investment types, income is often scattered across institutions, statements and files.

My Wealth keeps it alongside the corresponding assets. You can view property, financial investments and their income without maintaining independent tools, and compare the contribution of different asset classes more easily.

Analyze your wealth beyond its value

Two portfolios with the same value can produce very different income. My Wealth therefore separates wealth values, performance, income and liabilities instead of reducing them to one indicator.

This helps answer:

How much does my wealth generate?

Which assets produce the most income?

Does my income mainly come from property or financial investments?

How is my income changing over time?

Include passive income in your investment goals

My Wealth lets you define investment goals based on a target value, target allocation or passive-income level.

You can use income tracking to assess your path towards a financial goal, particularly when your strategy aims to develop income generated by your wealth over time.

Income remains linked to its asset, custodian, institution and owners. This prevents a global total from hiding its origin and lets you move from a summary to contributor details.

It also makes the effects of a loan or recurring costs on retained income easier to understand.

Keep history with your wealth

Income, frequencies and costs remain associated with the .mywealth file. To understand the available storage and protection choices, see My Wealth's local-first approach.
